Swing, jazz and timeless songbook classics for weddings, corporate events and festivals across Sydney and NSW. The band is led by Carl Riseley, vocalist and trumpeter, Australian Idol 2007 Top 3 finalist, former Royal Australian Navy Band musician, and the voice behind the ARIA Top 5 album The Rise and the ARIA Jazz #1 The Stillest Hour.
Line-ups to suit your event
Choose from a duo, trio, quartet or 5-piece band. A duo or trio suits an intimate ceremony or cocktail hour, and a quartet or 5-piece brings a full live sound to a gala dinner or dance floor.
Weddings
From the ceremony and canapes to your first dance and a lively final set, Carl's band reads the room and keeps the music right for every moment. Song requests are welcome.
Corporate events
Gala dinners, awards nights, product launches and client functions. Carl has performed for brands including Qantas, BMW, Toyota, PwC and Brookfield Multiplex, and at venues including Crown, Star City, the Art Gallery of NSW and Sydney Town Hall.
Festivals and venues
Relaxed, family-friendly sets of swing, jazz standards and easy-listening favourites, with Carl on vocals and live trumpet.
